Jason Giacomelli is a Research and Development Engineer at Philadelphia Mixing Solutions Ltd. where he is responsible for running pilot-scale experimental programs for both internal product development and process development on behalf of customers. He also runs computational fluid dynamic (CFD) models to support these programs.
He is a Member of AIChE and works with the local chapter to help with Community Outreach programs such as the Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Festival in Washington DC. Jason has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rowan University and is currently studying for a PhD on the subject of solids suspension in stirred vessels with Prof. Harry van den Akker at the University of Limerick in Ireland. He has co-authored a number of papers and conference presentations.
