Jennifer Linderman directs the University of Michigan ADVANCE Program, which focuses on faculty recruitment, retention, climate and leadership. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and her M.S.E. and Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and did postdoctoral work at the University of Massachusetts. She previously served as Associate Dean for Graduate Education in the College of Engineering, and she is a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. Her research interests include mathematical/computational modeling with application to tuberculosis, immunology, cancer, cell signaling and tissue engineering.
