Dr. Ji Jing obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science and completed his Postdoctoral training from Texas A&M University. He started his own lab in the Institute of Basic Medicine and Cancer (IBMC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2021. His research interests focus on design and implementation optogenetic tools to manipulate the function of intracellular organelles and their communications with the goal to develop new methods to study principles of cell signaling and behavior, ultimately achieving better treatment and prevention strategies for clinical research and applications.
