Jiyao Gao

Jiyao Gao is a fourth-year PhD student working with Prof. Fengqi You in the Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. He has a broad research interest in supply chain optimizations, particularly in shale gas supply chains. He has successfully published seven first-author journal articles covering various topics on shale gas supply chains. His recent research projects focus on incorporating sustainability in the design and operations of shale gas supply chains, addressing conflicts of interest in a noncooperative supply chain with game theory-based optimization models, and hedging against uncertainty using stochastic programming approach and data-driven methods.
