As a research manager, John Santagate is responsible for providing research, analysis and guidance on key business and IT issues for manufacturers. John holds more than a decade of experience, including advising leading oil, medical device and automobile companies on critical supply chain processes. John will have a hyper focus on Supply Chain Execution.
Prior to joining IDC in 2015, Mr. Santagate spent several years as Domain Consultant for Tata Consultancy Services Supply Chain Center of Excellence where he provided guidance on supply chain transformation and alignment between business process and IT at leading manufacturing firms across vertical markets.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Santagate spent time in sales and channel development in the IT and bio technology verticals where he focused on driving profitable revenue, effectively capturing the voice of the customer and channel partners, and providing market level demand insights to drive effective planning and execution.
Mr. Santagate holds an MBA from Rutgers Business School with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Massachusetts with a dual concentration in Finance and Management. Additionally, Mr. Santagate received a Lean Six Sigma Knowledge Certificate from Rutgers Business School.
