Jonathan Currie received his BE (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2009 from AUT University in New Zealand. Now, he is pursuing a PhD in real-time optimisation of steam utility systems, with research focus on optimisation strategies and predictive control. Prior to obtaining his degree, he won the New Zealand mechatronics competition and subsequently represented New Zealand at the World Skills mechatronics competition in Finland, 2005.
