
Jonathon Brown is a registered professional engineer in British Columbia. He graduated with a BSc from Queen’s University and from the University of Alberta with an MSc both in Metallurgical Engineering. He has over twenty five years of experience in the engineering, construction, and operation of metallurgical processing facilities. His work experience includes serving as a process engineer, project engineer, cost estimator, financial analyst, and materials engineer. He is familiar with most mineral processing unit operations including crushing and grinding, fluidized bed roasters, gas cyclones, electrostatic precipitators, baghouses, acid production, gas scrubbing, flotation, stirred-tank leaching, solution purification, and solid liquid separation and their application in the recovery of gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper, oil sands, potash, and tin. He has held various technical roles within Fluor and currently serves as the Process Department Manager at Fluor’s Mining and Metals office in Dublin, CA.
