Dr Juan Inga has been practicing Chemical Engineering for 37 years. He obtained his B.Sc. in Lima Peru, his masters in South Africa and his Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of several patents. Most of his career has been around synthetic fuels. He has developed technologies that are currently practiced on 3 different continents. He supports startup companies with his experience in scaleup and commercialization of new technologies. They include syngas generation from different sources all the way to final products including Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Fischer Tropsch waxes. Dr Inga was the secretary general of the 5th World Congress of Chemical Engineer that took place in San Diego in 1996. He is currently the Director of the Inga Group an engineering company supporting companies trying to reduce their carbon footprints and the production of synthetic fuels from biomass or associated gas.
