Dr. Chow Ka Lai, Karen completed her undergraduate study in Applied Biology (2009) and Ph.D. at Hong Kong Baptist University (2013). She is serving at Department of Geography, Hong Kong Baptist University as a lecturer. Her research focuses on environmental health and toxicology, sewage treatment, environmental remediation, and sustainable water management. She has particular interest on sewage treatment in constructed wetlands, and she is currently conducting related studies for treating municipal sewage in Hong Kong with the support by the Drainage Services Department. She joined the Energy & Environment as an editorial member since 2017.
