Karl-Martin Svan Hansson, PhD, is a process technology and development manager at the ST1 refinery in Gothenburg, Sweden. Previously, he was a senior process engineer with Borealis in Stenungsund, Sweden. He has more than 15 years of experience in design, operation, and troubleshooting refinery and steam cracker units. He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees from Chalmers Univ. of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
