Keith Mattern is currently a Senior Scientist working in the Enabling Technologies group in Merck Research Labs in Rahway NJ. He is a member of the Data Rich Experimentation team and focuses on both developing new tools and techniques, as well as leveraging existing technologies to solve complex problems in pharmaceutical research. Keith has spent several years developing custom reactor solutions and workflows for mass transfer characterization in support of biocatalytic aerobic oxidations developing a deep subject matter expertise in the scale-up of these complex enzymatic transformations.
