Kelly graduated from University of Maryland with degree in Chemical Engineering. She started
her ExxonMobil career in 2006. In the past 18 years, Kelly had a broad range of technical and
leadership roles within the corporation. She started as a Dynamic Simulation Engineer, and
later became the Dynamic Simulation Supervisor to a global team of ten engineers. She went on
application engineer assignments in two manufacturing sites (Baytown and Singapore). In her
role as the Blending Control Discipline Technology Leader, she oversaw the technology
development and deployment to more than a dozen of downstream sites globally. More
recently, she went on a business development assignment in the Low Carbon Solutions
Company, developing new market for low carbon intensity hydrogen products, with the mission
of accelerating the world's path to net-zero.
She currently holds the role of Commercial Lead – Open Process Automation in ExxonMobil
Technology and Engineering Company (EMTEC), leading the efforts in advocacy, adoption, and
commercialization of new solutions.
In her spared time, Kelly enjoys traveling. She has so far been to 40 countries and territories in
six continents. Fun fact: Kelly was admitted to MENSA, a high IQ society whose members need
to score in the top two percentile of standardized IQ test.
