Khalid K. Alam is the Founder and CEO of Stemloop – an early stage company developing and commercializing cell-free biosensors. He received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a graduate certificate in Life Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri. Alam then trained as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University’s Center for Synthetic Biology, where he led development of the ROSALIND platform and other cell-free biosensor technologies.
