Dr. Kierston Shill is the Associate Director of Downstream Process Development at Amyris, where she develops scalable purification strategies for sustainable ingredients through biotechnology. Prior to Amyris, Kierston worked at Bayer as a scientist in protein purification and manufacturing. She earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and her BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
