Kinjal joined Dow Personal Care in 2010. In her role, she has helped advance various technical and market opportunities for personal care business. She has been with company for twelve years. Her responsibility includes new sustainable technology innovation, creating new intellectual property, and providing technical leadership for formulation and testing capabilities to meet customer and market needs. Her recent championship with external partner for starch platform to meet the market need with performance as a result launched MaizeCare™ Polymer product line. MaizeCare™ Style polymer and MaizeCare™ Clarity polymer, which are the first 100% bio-based hair fixative in Dow’s personal care portfolio.
She is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, American Chemical Society (ACS). She is a recipient of an R&D 100 Award and BIG Substitutability Awards, Green Chemistry Award, PCHI fountain Award she has 17 granted patents consisting of innovations in skin, sun, hair, and oral care applications. She is an author of more than 40 internal reports, research disclosures and articles, journals, publications.
