Graduate student
West Virginia University
Piash is a 4th year Ph.D. student in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Department at West Virginia University. His Ph.D. research focuses on developing nutrient selective nanofiltration membranes. He is currently designing surface-modified polyelectrolyte multilayer membranes for selective separation of ammonium and potassium (as fertilizer raw materials) from concentrated wastewater while rejecting dangerous organic pollutants. Prior joining to WVU, he completed my BS in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and worked as an assistant engineer of Meghna Group of Industries, Bangladesh.
