Kristine Smith is a PhD candidate in chemical and biomolecular engineering at North Carolina State Univ. She earned her BS in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Notre Dame (2012) and her MS in chemical engineering from Rutgers Univ. (2018). Following her BS degree, she worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb in product development roles, including pilot plant manufacturing, automation, and process engineering. In 2018, she was awarded the Bristol-Myers Squibb Doctoral Fellowship and is currently studying the rheology and fluid dynamics of colloidal gels under Lilian Hsiao.
