Kushal Sinha has been key to create and expand an infrastructure for integrated model-driven process decisions at AbbVie Inc. Passionate about algorithms and numerical methods, it is only fitting that he acts as an internal consultant to discovery, development and manufacturing organizations on modeling related projects. After pushing boundaries of lab-on-a-chip and novel drug delivery technologies in his PhD at University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has been focusing on multiphysics, multiphase and multiscale CFD and DEM simulations to solve problems related to fluid and particle dynamics at AbbVie Inc. Keeping AbbVie ahead of the curve, he has brought Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into process development and manufacturing. In his talk, he will focus on the application of CFD and DEM in a variety of process-design and troubleshooting.
