Kyle Daniels graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland-College Park where he worked in the lab of Dorothy Beckett. Kyle completed his PhD research at Duke University with Terrence Oas, and his postdoctoral research at University of California-San Francisco with Wendell Lim. He is the recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, and Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program Felowship. In May, Kyle begins his appointment as an Assistant Professor of Genetics at Stanford University. His lab will use synthetic biology and machine learning approaches to design cell therapies and study principles of modularity.
