Lauren Popov, PhD, is Director of Translational Biology at Novome Biotechnologies. She received her PhD from Stanford Univ.’s Microbiology and Immunology Dept. prior to completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Univ. of California, Berkeley. Popov is an expert in host-microbe interactions, and has led many key initiatives at Novome, including regulatory filings for their clinical program in enteric hyperoxaluria. She is an inventor on a number of key pieces of Novome’s intellectual property portfolio, and currently manages both Novome’s Translational Biology team as well as the Novome research collaboration with Genentech.
