Dr. Letian Dou is currently the Charles Davidson Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. He obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University in 2009 working with Prof. Xinhua Wan and Ph.D. from UCLA Materials Science in 2014 working with Prof. Yang Yang (co-advised by Prof. Fred Wudl @UCSB in 2013). From 2014 to 2017, he was a Postdoc Fellow working with Prof. Peidong Yang at the Department of Chemistry, University of California-Berkeley and Materials Science Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He joined Purdue University in 2017 and was awarded tenure in 2022. His research interest includes the synthesis of hybrid materials, organic semiconductors, halide perovskites, and related optoelectronic properties and their device applications.
