Lisa Kennedy is Director of Business Development at Genomatica with responsibility to advance partnerships for commercialization of biobased ingredients. She joined Genomatica in 2011 and since that time has launched a biobased nylon development program and established a distribution network to support product roll-out of biobased butylene glycol, a naturally sourced ingredient for the personal care industry.
Lisa has been a conduit between brands and technologists, educating parties to the life cycle and sustainability benefits of biobased ingredients. Her previous experience in business development include the assessment of a biobased diacid development pipeline and implementing a corporate brand at Verdezyne.
Lisa holds a B.Sc. in biochemistry from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the University California, San Diego Rady School of Management.
