Lynne McBride is Executive Director of the California Dairy Campaign (CDC), a grassroots organization of dairy farm families that work on a wide range of dairy policy issues, including climate smart agriculture policies and programs and dairy pricing and other farm policy matters. CDC provides outreach and education to dairy producers on manure management practices and regulatory issues relating to air and water quality. CDC is a Dairy Cares member and a California Dairy Quality Assurance Program partner working on a variety of dairy sustainability issues.
CDC is a member organization of California Farmers Union (CFU), the California chapter of National Farmers Union (NFU), representing over 200,000 farmers who are leading the nationwide effort among farmers to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change. Lynne began working for California Dairy Campaign in 2000 after serving as NFU Government Relations Representative in Washington, DC focusing on environmental and farm policy issues.
