Marco Caggioni, PhD, earned a PhD in physics from Università degli Studi di Milano and spent two years as a postdoctoral scholar at Harvard Univ. In 2006, he joined the Procter & Gamble Co., where he is now a technical section head in the Corporate Engineering Div. Caggioni’s group supports process and product development and leads engineering research studies into soft material microstructure and rheology. He works closely with academic partners on translational technology projects for numerous formulated product areas. He is a member of the Society of Rheology.
