Marco Márquez is a chemical engineer with over 30 years of combined experience in the Energy Industry and with Industrial Gas Companies. He started his career with Petroleos de Venezuela, where he worked for about 15 years in multiple areas, including process engineering, R&D, project development and international sales. Over the last 15 years he has worked for three industrial gas companies, primarily focused in global business development and marketing in the area of hydrogen use for refinery and green fuels applications. He has visited and/or done business in over 20 countries across the globe. Marco is currently Global Director of Hydrogen Business Development – Refining for MATHESON. He holds MSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
