MARIO ROZA is an independent process technology consultant. In 2021, he retired as the VP of Technology Management and Process Innovation at Sulzer Chemtech. He has more than 35 years of experience in mass transfer components and process technology, with a focus on distillation and absorption, membrane technology, and heat integration of process plants. He has published more than 30 articles for magazines and international symposia. He has given distillation and mass transfer equipment-related courses at Bahrain Univ., National Univ. of Singapore, and ETH Zurich. Roza has an MS in chemical engineering from the Technical Univ. of Delft, where he worked with Prof. Zuiderweg.
