Mark Breese is a Principal Consultant for Yokogawa RAP. He has a degree in chemistry from the Univ. of Reading (UK) and is a Chartered Chemist and member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has more than 30 years of plant and process experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, minerals, pharmaceutical, power, and water industries. Starting as a chemical process engineer, he’s also worked in technical services, product management, engineering, and research and development (R&D) and has been granted several design patents. Breese works with plants to help them transition to new digital control of work (CoW) solutions, without losing the history and experience gained over all those pre-digital years. This enables safer and more intelligent ways of working and supports plantwide continuous cultural safety improvement.
