Technology Specialist, Refining Catalysts

Melissa Clough is a technology specialist with BASF’s refining catalyst business. In her role, she coordinates catalyst testing, product technology developments, customer interactions, and technical service requests. Prior to refining catalysts, Melissa held different roles with BASF including R&D in pharma solutions and capital project assessment work in procurement. Melissa received her PhD in chemistry from Texas A&M University and her BS in Chemistry from the University of Florida. Her academic work included catalyst synthesis, catalytic screening, supramolecular self-assembly, and fluorous chemistry.
