Michael Wang, PhD, is the manager of the Systems Assessment Group of the Energy Systems Div. at the Argonne National Laboratory (Email: mqwang@anl.gov). He leads the development and application of GREET (Greenhouse Gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy Use in Transportation) model for life cycle analysis of advanced vehicle technologies, transportation fuels, and other energy systems. He is an associate editor of Biotechnology for Biofuels and on the editorial board of Frontiers of Energy and Power Engineering in China. Wang received his BS in agricultural meteorology from China Agricultural Univ., and PhD and MS in environmental science from the Univ. of California at Davis.
