Minye Liu is a principal consultant in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and mixing at Chemours. Previously, he worked for DuPont, Procter & Gamble Co.; Cray Research, Inc., and subsequently Silicon Graphics, Inc.; and the Center for Computer Aids for Industrial Productivity at Rutgers Univ.
He has served in the executive committee of the North American Mixing Forum (NAMF) since 2005 and has served as treasurer (2007 – 2010), vice president (2010 – 1012), and President (2012 – 2014). He is the 2014 recipient of NAMF Award for excellence and sustained contributions to mixing research and practices.
He holds a BS in nuclear engineering from Harbin Engineering Univ. (China), an MS in power engineering from Dalian Univ. of Technology (China), an MS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton Univ., and a PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Rutgers Univ. He is a member of AIChE.
