Mrunmayi Kumbhalkar is a scientist in Engineering & Process Science group aligned to Corporate R&D in Dow where she is involved with scale-up design and implementation of new process technologies. Her prior industry experience involves process engineering roles with Indian Oil Corporation (Gujarat, India) and Aditya Birla Chemicals (Saraburi, Thailand). In 2017, she was awarded her PhD in Chemical Engineering in the field of applied heterogeneous catalysis from University of Wisconsin-Madison. When she is not discussing chemical engineering at the dinner table with her husband, Pranav Karanjkar (who is also a scientist at Dow), she enjoys yoga, strategy board games, and travelling the world.
