Nasiru M. Tukur, PhD, is an Engineering Consultant with Saudi Aramco’s Process & Control Systems Dept. (P&CSD). Tukur earned his PhD in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Manchester, U.K., in 2005 and has more than 30 years of working experience. He has previously worked for King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and SABIC Engineering & Project Management before joining Saudi Aramco in 2010. Tukur is the Secretary of the Saudi Aramco Product Specifications Committee and a member of the Low Carbon Product taskforce. He is a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and a voting member of the ASTM International D04 committee on Petroleum Products. He has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
