Nat D. Schatz (Email: nschatz35@aol.com) is a retired project management consultant who holds a BSChE from the New York Univ. Tandon School of Engineering and an MBA in finance from Seton Hall Univ. He has worked for operating companies, including Allied Chemical and Air Products and Chemicals, in process improvement and process development, as well as project management and project direction. He has also worked for major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, including Heyward-Robinson and Wilputte Corp., in the areas of process engineering, project engineering, project management, and construction management. As a project management consultant, he developed detailed procedures for value improvement practices (VIP), post-project audits, cost estimate reviews, project development processes, project improvement practices (efficient engineering standards and specifications), VIP training, and project management team maturity studies.
