Nick Ashley, P.E.

Nick Ashley, PhD, P.E., is currently a process safety engineer for ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, LA. He previously served as the Global Director, Process Safety at W. R. Grace & Co. where he led the development and implementation of Grace’s process safety program. He has 19 years of chemical engineering practice in specialty chemicals including process design and development, economic analysis, plant start-up, and process safety. The last nine years have been devoted exclusively to process safety and loss prevention for several multinational companies. He received BS and PhD degrees in chemical engineering from Louisiana State Univ. He is a licensed professional engineer in Louisiana and a senior member of AIChE.
