Nick AuYeung, PhD, is an assistant professor at Oregon State University School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering (Email: nick.auyeung@oregonstate.edu). Prior to joining the faculty at Oregon State, he worked as a postdoctoral associate focusing on solar thermochemical conversion processes for fuels and energy storage in the Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Univ. of Florida. He earned his BS from the Univ. of Connecticut and PhD from Oregon State Univ., both in chemical engineering. He completed his PhD dissertation on thermochemical water splitting. For the past three years, AuYeung has been an active leader of sessions related to solar energy for power generation and chemical processing at AIChE Annual Meetings.
