Parm Bansal is a chemical engineer with over 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. After graduating from University College London, Parm worked at Lonza Biologics providing support for their fermentation operations. In 1999 he started work at AstraZeneca in Loughborough, supporting the development and scale up of new medicines. He has gained experience of a wide variety of chemical engineering unit operations. Recently, Parm had published an article in The Chemical Engineer on the current issues facing the pharmaceutical industry. In his spare time, Parm is a keen runner, enjoys writing (he has been working on a novel for the last 5 years!) and spending time with his family.
