Paul Dodds

Paul Dodds is Professor of Energy Systems at the UCL Energy Institute. He specialises in energy systems modelling and led the development of the UK TIMES energy systems model that is used by the UK Government to inform UK climate policy.  His research currently focuses on climate mitigation, with a particular focus on hydrogen and fuel cells. He proposed repurposing the gas networks to deliver hydrogen in a paper in 2013. He chairs the UK Government Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard and Certification Working Group. He has represented the UK Government at International Energy Agency programmes on hydrogen and energy systems.
