Peter Hanik, P.E., is the president and founder of Pretium Innovation (Email: phanik@pretiumllc.com), which specializes in intellectual property and team-based innovation systems to create lasting economic value. He has worked at Reliance Industries, Millennium Chemicals, Millennium Petrochemicals, Quantum Chemical, and Northern Petrochemical. He has served the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers Association (AFPM) as a member of the executive committee, board of directors, steering committee, petrochemical committee, and program chairman for the 2002 International Petrochemical Conference. Hanik has served as a member of the AIChE Industrial Advisory Board 2002–2004. Hanik has a BS in chemical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Univ. of Chicago. He is a registered professional engineer in Nebraska.
