PJ earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from City College of NY with thesis in antifoam effects of oils. PJ first job was with Unilever, where he spent 10 years with increasing responsibilities within R&D. His work in foam properties provided insights in surfactant-polymer and fragrance interactions at molecular level. After exciting 10 years of R&D work , PJ decided to switch his focus to business development and sales. PJ joined Clariant as a Technical leader for the NA business where he was responsible for the NPD and technical sales activities. In this dual role, he managed the lab in creating various new applications and new products and successfully increasing the market size for the business in surfactants, and preservatives categories. In 2019, PJ decided to join Cargill as business development manager, for the main reason of the company’s footprint and mission of delivering sustainable and natural ingredients to the consumers. PJ manages business development and sales activities for strategic accounts. Mainly focusing on creating and implementing new products, and driving business strategies and sales for the NA business.
