Dr. Maitra is currently head of Discovery & Development Sciences at Global Skincare R&D at Allergan Aesthetics, Abbvie responsible for SkinMedica & DiamondGlow product innovation. Dr. Maitra has over 18 years of research & strategic leadership experience in skincare product development, skin biology, color cosmetics & external innovation at Johnson & Johnson (Neutrogena, Aveeno, Neostrate, Exuviance, RoC, Clean & Clear, Johnson’s Baby & Desitin) Avon Products & Colgate Palmolive. Dr.Maitra received his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Temple University in 2003 and Executive Leadership certification in Innovation and Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Business & Wharton, UPenn. Prithwi is author of several peer reviewed publications and book chapters and is often invited speaker & chair at several national and international conferences. Prithwi is inventor on over 50 patents and pending applications.
