RAVINDRA AGLAVE is the Director for Chemical & Process Industry in the simulation business at Siemens. In this role, he is responsible for bringing new modeling and physics knowledge into simulation tools that can be deployed in the industry. Aglave joined Siemens in 2012. He has more than 20 years of experience in engineering analysis for performance evaluation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving backed by simulation of various kinds. He has previously held research and engineering positions at BASF (Germany), Bechtel (Houston, TX) and Callidus/UOP Honeywell Technologies Inc. (Tulsa, OK). He earned his PhD in natural sciences from the Univ. of Heidelberg, Germany and his MS from the Univ. of Mumbai, and BS in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Pune in India.
