René Kulik is Diplom-Ingenieur graduate of the Technical University in Berlin, Germany, where he received the equivalent of a Master's degree in Management and Engineering. He has worked in different capacities with Alstom Power since 2010; including an internship with the steam turbine and generator manufacturing facility of Alstom Beizhong Power in Bejing, China. Between May 2012 and December 2013 he was an engineer trainee at the manufacturing facility for supercritical coal-fired tower boilers at Alstom Boiler Deutschland in Stuttgart, Germany. In January 2014 he became a Technical Service Engineer at the SCHMIDTSCHE SHACK division of ARVOS GmbH a designer and fabricator of heat transfer equipment for the chemical and metallurgical industries. ARVOS GmbH was part of Alstom Power until March 2014.
