Ritu Bansa Mutalik is the Sr. Director of Process Development at Zymochem. At Zymochem Ritu oversees all processing R&D efforts (Fermentation, DSP and Materials production) as well as all scale-up efforts, including coordinating with Zymochem's various partners and CMOs. Ritu has over 15 years of postdoctoral experience including over 8 years in industrial process development amongst Just, Bolt Threads and Mycoworks. Her accomplishments includes optimizing and scaling fermentative production of multiple products including biopolymers and materials as well as building high performing teams with consistent focus on strategic commercial objectives, She has pioneered numerous projects in applied biotechnology, in industry and academia, bridging the gap between process research and scaleup.
