Roger Spitz (B.Sc. Econ, M.Sc., FCA, APF) is a bestselling author and world-leading authority on strategic foresight and systems innovations. Spitz has given hundreds of keynotes globally, is frequently published and quoted, and has guest lectured at many of the world’s most prestigious institutions. He serves on multiple boards focused on anticipatory governance, sustainability, AI & ethics, venture capital (VC), and academia.

Spitz is President of Techistential, the preeminent foresight practice, which advises CEOs, investors, and boards on evaluating strategy under uncertainty, anticipating disruptions, and sustainable value creation. Spitz is also Chair of the Disruptive Futures Institute in San Francisco and an expert advisor to the World Economic Forum’s Global Foresight Network. He lectures and publishes widely on Anticipatory Leadership, Futures Intelligence & Strategic Foresight.

Spitz is the author of five books, including the bestselling "Disrupt With Impact: Achieve Business Success in an Unpredictable World" and acclaimed collection “The Definitive Guide to Thriving on Disruption.” His frameworks, adopted by organizations worldwide, have featured in Fast Company, Gartner, Global Peter Drucker Forum, INC, Institute of Directors, Journal of Futures Studies, MIT Technology Review, and World Economic Forum.

A recognized expert in AI, Spitz coined the term “Techistentialism” and founded the Techistential Center for Human & Artificial Intelligence. He writes extensively on the future of AI and strategic decision-making, and serves on the AI Council of the Indian Society for Artificial Intelligence.

Spitz previously led Global Technology M&A at BNP Paribas, advising on over 50 transactions totaling $25bn.
