Leader, MML User Facility Strategic Partnerships
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Ron Jones is the director of nSoft Consortium and leader of MML User Facility Strategic Partnerships. Since 2012, nSoft has become an environment where members of the consortium are successfully leveraging research in a non-proprietary environment with experts in neutron scattering, spectroscopy, and imaging to gain expertise in these unique and powerful tools. Once the expertise is gained by the member, a separate full cost recovery proprietary environment is often utilized to gain a competitive advantage. The consortium empowers US-based manufacturers to compete in product development and solving highly complex manufacturing issues with a low barrier to entry and access.
