SAHAND FARAJI, PhD, is a Senior Associate in the Thermal Sciences practice at Exponent, Inc. (15615 Alton Parkway, Suite 350, Irvine, CA 92618, Email: sfaraji@exponent.com). He has expertise in chemical engineering and industrial processing, hydrogen and clean energy production, nanomaterial synthesis, petrochemical and process safety, and experimental combustion processes. He earned his PhD in chemical engineering from the Univ. of California, Irvine, where he studied the synthesis and evaluation of nanomaterials for combustion technologies. Prior to attending graduate school, he received a MSc in chemical engineering from Istanbul Technical Univ. in Turkey and a BSc in chemical engineering from Univ. of Tabriz in Iran.
