Scott is a Functional Safety Engineer working for NOVA Chemicals, a Canadian petrochemical company that specializes in ethylene and polyethylene production.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. He is a licenced engineer in the province of Ontario (P. Eng) and a functional safety professional certified with TUV SUD. He has been a member of CCPS projects such as the Methods to Analyze Loss-of-Containment Scenarios Monograph and the Early Career Professional Learning Initiative (ECPLI).
