Shane Harvey, P.Eng., is the Manager of Americas Application Engineering for Elliott Group, a leader in the supply of compressors and turbines for ethylene plants. He has more than 10 years of experience sizing and selecting turbomachinery for the olefins market. He holds a BSc in mechanical engineering from the Univ. of Calgary and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta. He is the cochair of the Rotating Equipment Subcommittee of the AIChE Ethylene Producers’ Conference.
