Simon Schubach is the Perth HES Team Lead for Chevron’s Energy Technology Company. He is a chemical engineer with postgraduate qualifications in process systems and environmental science. He has over 30 years experience, initially in petrochemicals in both Australia and the UK and then subsequently in process safety and risk management consulting to onshore and offshore oil and gas through to downstream petrochemicals and chemicals, in Australia and internationally across the Americas, Middle East and SE and East Asia. He has experience in developing and administering major hazard regulatory regimes at both the Commonwealth and State government levels.
