Timothy C. Frank, PhD, retired as Fellow and Associate Research and Development (R&D) Director at The Dow Chemical Company after 34 years of industrial experience (Email: seriousseparationsllc@gmail.com). He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Montana State Univ. (1978) and an MS and PhD in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Colorado, Boulder (1981, 1984). At Dow, Frank held a variety of positions in technology R&D and technical management. He was awarded the AIChE Separations Div. Gerhold Award in 2014 and is a Fellow of AIChE.
